Anyway, I've been writing this afterword all cool-like, but
CONGRATS TO UDONGE FOR BEING PROMOTED TO PLAYABLE IN LOLK!!!!!!!
I'm really looking forward to it!!!!
It looks like the story's gonna involve the Moon, though!!!! How timely of me!
Hooray———!!
I always end up drawing things I want to eat myself, but yeah, I sure am in the mood for ramen. I've never actually eaten some at a cart.
My original idea was that the Earth's destruction was caused by Kaguya and Mokou's playfighting escalating a little too much, but since that wasn't really the point of the story, I decided to leave it aside... The TORIFUNE showing was up because I happened to listen to Trojan Green Asteroid in the background. Just assume that the Earth's explosion caused a time hole that pulled it from the future into orbit near Gensokyo or something (this also isn't the official explanation).
I like to assume that the Lunarians I didn't manage to fit in probably used their technology to predict Earth's destruction and evacuate somewhere around Mars or Venus or the like. Well, to be honest, they didn't appear because I still haven't gotten around to reading Bougetsushou yet! I'm sorry!!
This turned into the Eientei... or rather, Eirin x Udonge manga I've been wanting to draw for a long time. I do feel kind of iffy about calling it an Eringe story, though... I basically started out wanting to draw page 3, and then expanded from there. I was thinking of a sort of sekai-kei story about how even if the world ended, the two of them would make it somehow, acting cute on a broken-off piece of the Moon floating in space though eventually still dying and all that, reminiscent of a certain Kerbasdeusa... But as I kept adding more and more sorta scifi-esque, maybe-intelligible-maybe-not ideas, it turned into less of an Eringe story and more of a comedy! But at least that's easy to get, right!?
