I will never get over by how badly Hollywood screwed over the timeline for this movie. Still an okay movie if you've never read any comics whatsoever.
I will never get over how bad comics screwed over the timeline in themselves... It is best to treat each iteration as its own timeline, because each writer/editor has their own vision and will recreate events to suit it on a whim, no matter how badly it ruins other stories or characters. Just pick a writing team you like and run with them.
Part of why Manga are a little better in my opinion...one writer/one vision/one continuity.
