    Question: Does she still murder prostitutes, or just anyone she's told to kill?

    She specializes in killing women in general. Her noble phantasm becomes an undodgable auto-kill technique if she uses it against a woman at night in a misty area. Her other noble phantasm is a cloud of mist that moves with her, which makes that a lot less useless than it sounds.

    Pretty sure she kills women because she has mommy issues.

    Ah. That sounds pretty neat, considering who she's based on. Thanks for answering.

    Maybe this Grail War shakes up the roster, I mean they changed Assassin, who's to say they didn't change Saber, Rider, and Caster as well?

    Pianist beat me to it, but yeah, they did. The lineup for Apocrypha includes multiple servants of every class, including Berserker!Spartacus, Caster!Shakespeare, Saber!Siegfried, Rider!Saint George, Berserker!Frankenstein (who's apparently a cyborg loli with daddy issues in the Nasuverse), and Joan of Arc in a new class called Ruler who acts as the Administrator in place of Kotomine.

    Also, Shakespeare apparently knows what a death flag is. Dude's been playing visual novels on the Throne of Heroes, evidently.

    His Noble Phantasm "First Folio" is also another take that at VNs since it's a Reset button.

    If her Master is female, she'll insist on calling them "Mother."

    Type-Moon, and their associates really enjoy turning "villains" into tragic heroes. But then, everyone is born innocent aren't they?

    They have quite a interesting sense of humor, according to the character bios. The Servant Vlad III in Apocrypha Designed by Gen Urobuchi, apparently different people designed each of the characters. apparently tries to arrange for unfortunate things to happen to stuff that refers to vampires, especially those which refer to Dracula.

    The Servant Astolfo never shuts up, wanders frequently and "pops up everywhere", and is prime trap material. Servant David is weak against beautiful women, and is a horrible dancer; Servant Frankenstein always turns off the lights to save electricity when she leaves a room, and Servant Saint George loves travelling and is fascinated by modern cameras.

    I like Assassin Jack a lot.
    I don't know exactly why.
    Maybe it's a mixture of:
    I've studied Jack the Ripper at School and I know that 'he' was never caught - a good reason why 'he' could be a 'she';
    She's pretty damn cute;
    She's pretty damn sexy;
    Her abilities are pretty damn badass.

    Although, honestly there should be a couple of changes made to her abilities to be more in-line with the original:
    Her Luck stat should be higher. A lot higher, or she should have some kind of personal skill that boosts her luck the more chance she has of being discovered.
    Her "The Mist: Darkness Mist Capital" should have the first "mist" replaced with "smog" (smog = smoke + fog), because the japanese don't have a word like "smog" naturally it would be mistranslated.

    Her "auto-kill anything female" attack ("Maria the Ripper - The Holy Maiden of Dismemberment" IIRC) is actually a curse that embodies the anguish felt by all the children of London's prostitutes who had been abandoned by their mothers (so that the prostitutes could continue their trade), so, yeah, "mommy issues" is putting it lightly.

    To be fair, Gille de Rais is no tragic hero; he's a complete monster and batsh*t crazy. Medea is axe-crazy for love, not a tragic heroine (though I get the feeling that if Kuzuki himself had been a more moral person she'd have reformed for his sake). There's nothing tragic about Gilgamesh. He's just an @$$ and he's supposed to be the very first hero! Medusa is the only Anti-Hero with a truly tragic backstory (cuz' as much as I feel sorry for Medea, Jason being a cheating b*stard does not excuse her killing her own kids).

    She has an ability that makes it impossible to discover her true identity unless you were attacked by her and survived or you logically deduce her identity from clues at the scene of one of her attacks. And I agree with you on the smog thing, especially since the description of her mist power specifically mentions that it was created by pollution and is acidic. I liked her design too for some reason. Maybe it's just the thought that the infamous "Jack" was really just some mentally deranged little girl who kept killing her 'mommy' (prostitutes) for abandoning her is a take on "Jack's" identity that I had never seen before.

    Not necessarily. If you have high magic resistence (as Saber and FSN Rider do, and I assume FSN Caster does as well), it just does damage, with the damage output being greater depending on how many of the three conditions are met because it's a curse, not an actualy physical attack.

    Problem is, because its a curse she can spam it from long-range and once you are trapped in the mist you lose a Rank in Agility if you are a Heroic Spirit (human magi take damage every turn instead, so, yeah, female Masters would be screwed unless they have high resistence to curses for some reason) and you need at least a B-Rank in Instinct or some kind of tracking/guiding spell to escape from the mist/smog which scrambles your sense of direction.

    Shes actually deadlier than any of the canon Assassins (as long as she avoids fighting head-on)!

    Jack's real power is based on how moral and honorable her master is. Her mist hide + absolute stealth + first strike skill, means she can sneak in and assassinate any servant's master without them noticing. the same is true for basically any servant she can take out in one shot (anybody that doesnt have invincibility/battle continuation). Her Maria the Ripper just makes it possible to guarantee a kill vs some people/give her a usable combat skill. So basically: Stealth in, kill master, stealth out. Repeat. Win.

    Don't forget, Jackie is already able to generate one condition required for her instakill NP: the Fog. IINM her curse's damage increases each time the conditions are piled up, so even in the condition of Night+Fog or Fog+Female (instakill is Night+Fog+Female) it will do significant damage. Even when the kill is unsuccessful, if she managed to stealth out, she could just have another go at the victim at a later date (at the risk of the master knowing who she is). Of course, i agree she'll be screwed if she got an honorable master like Dan Blackmore (guy screwed up Robin's chances since Dan insists of Rob to fight honorably, where Rob's NP improves stealth), but most Master in a Holy Grail War is quite pragmatic.

    Jackie is cute, i like her... but my favorite Apocrypha Servant is undeniably Karna. Hey, he's like my second favorite character in Mahabharata, and his depiction in Apocrypha is quite accurate (barring his white anime hair of course), Noble Phantasm and all. Also, due to him hailing from the same time strata as Gilgamesh (~3000 to 2500ish BC), his brokenness is actually quite acceptable by Nasuverse standards.
