Oh, i thought that was hippo, but i realized that it was rhino when i looked back.

Really? Last time I checked hippo in Japanese is spelled "Kaba". Kaba backwards would be Abak, not Baka, right?

...English and Japanese are vastly different, you know. Obviously Japanese people will make puns based on their own kana spelling rather than English spelling. Kaba is spelled in Japanese as カバ/かば, which when read backwards gives you ばか/バカ(baka).

Japanese don't form words out of letters as we do. They use syllables so Ka and Ba from kaba becomes baka.
