Why is this tagged jiangshi? I see it more being that someone is trying to kill/seal Miko up again.

Well it might be referring to the actual pose and talisman. But we need the text to be translated to confirm.

Nope,jiangshi(僵尸)actually means "stiffen corpse".

Any why it's in the Soul-Crushingly Depressing pool. Devoid of context, it doesn't seem to warrant it on its own, at least not compared with other entries in the pool.

If I had to take a shot in the dark, Miko was in a great deal of pain, probably because something went wrong during her sleep, hence why she ended up a jiangshi. She decided, instead of living a broken life, she'd sacrifice herself for Futo's sake.
