Ironically the fusion between Imperialdramon (Fighter Mode) and Omegamon was achievable in Revenge of Diaboromon, although it doesn't look like this. However, instead of the fusion being direct, meaning like DNA digivolving where two digimon combine, Imperialdramon Paladin mode was achieved using Omegamon's data; in the movie it was given to Imperialdramon through the Omega Sword that broke during the battle with Armageddemon.

thinking of this ... there is another posibility for explain this pic: "Digi Xross" ... in Xross Wars we see that is posible too
The "Digi Xross" is diferent than the "Jogress" , the 1st posible combine the atributes of 2 (or more) into one and become an another being or the same whit new atributes ... when the 2nd is only restricted to 2 digimons only
