The thing by her eye might be but in that case I've tagged it as the closest approximation I can think of which is "monocle", of which it fits the criteria for being one.

The weapon she's using is a Smartgun, from Aliens. The optical device is its targetter. The TL;DR is that the bullets home in on whatever she locks onto.

Correction: More like the gun automatically aims itself at targets and the operator pulls the trigger when desired/nudges it at other targets if desired.

That much said, it can also be manually aimed.
