I don't consider Metroid Fusion really nostalgic

I'm on the "its nostalgic" side. First Metroid game I ever played, and I'm 23. By the time I got into video games at age ten, Super Metroid (or, more precisely, the super Nintendo) was a long-forgotten memory.

I remember piling into the neighbor's garage with his family of 8 and taking turns every time you die to play.

We played until the game started over heating and started placing blue doors in random places and glitching out.

I believe I was a kid when I played Fusion, yes. A much happier kid than I am now; hence, nostalgia.

Cripes, that's the gaming equivalent of wearing the tape out on a VHS cassette. I didn't think you could overheat those things.

I think it only took like 2ish hours? It might have been an artifact of playing around with justin baily codes.

Not sure if it was a bug introduced over time or actually related to heat, that was probably exaggeration.

It seemed like we always started getting blue doors and weird floating stuff in the middle of the map. Took like two hours maybe? It happened on my cart too so I'm surprised no one else remembers.

I think you either had a suspect cartridge, or whatever you were playing on was faulty. I've played my copy for hours at a time without failure.

you know, I thought it was due to hooks that she had on the cannon, but I just realised that they're on the free arm.

So I'm going to say magnets.
