Soooo... Why didn't Tewi just tell Reimu and/or Marisa, who are both sitting right there with nothing better to do, that a girl from the Human Village was being attacked by Rumia? Reimu/Marisa would crush Rumia and Tewi would still get some credit for saving the girl.
What do you mean "nothing better to do"? They're having a meal. There's no way Reimu would even consider leaving her meal to save someone she doesn't know. She probably wouldn't even leave a meal to save someone she does know. Marisa might consider it, as it would improve her reputation with the human village, but that would solely profit Marisa's reputation, not Tewi's and Tewi is thinking about her own profit margin. Pay roughly $100 to improve her business in the village, or pay nothing and gain nothing.
