    玉竜のクラスメート登場。ビーストウォーズメタルス最終回を何となく観返していて考えついたという曰く付きの子です。「それに、もしあたし達に子供が生まれたら、八本脚でぱたぱた飛ぶ犬が口から糸吐くのよ！？妖怪じゃない！！ それもうビーストじゃなくて水木しげる先生の世界しゃ！」じゃあ組み合わせ変えて妖怪にしてみよう、という。いやー、その、なんつーか…ぱたぱた犬、の響きが可愛かったもんで、つい…ｗ

    ...Well, I think you don't see artists making a new youkai race for the sake of particular name pun very often :3
    Also, just noticed that Ran's speech bubbles are always semi-transparent. Nice touch.

    Did a little research on Yanagiba's species name, as much as my limited knowledge of Japanese allowed. It seems that 大蝦蟇蛙　is roughly equivalent to 大蝦蟇, a giant toad from Touhou series, so I'm changing TL accordingly - feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken.
    On a side note - wait what, ZUN is married?!

    Take a look at those things - they're huge! She wouldn't be able to fit in school desk chairs without knocking over the desk behind or to the side of her without hiding them.
