Not really, "Familiar" would refer to her partner, FoxFire, so if anything, she's being possessed by FoxFire to somehow make her stronger.

And if you look at the card "Spiritual Fire Art - Kurenai", hell even her "Blazing Hiita" form, she's dressed like that there to, so technically, she seems to choose to dress like that, although I'm still confused on her choice of wearing that black thing over her shirt, I mean it doesn't look exactly like any kind of bra I've seen, yet it seems to tight for a tank-top or something....
