Boo....I was hoping Team Moriya would taste defeat. I really wanted Shoud and Byakuren to move on.

This does not bode well for Heavenly Sky.

Very use to it, though I'd expect at least SOME acknowledgement of having just been slammed into the ceiling.

Actually, this looks rather believable. Well, as believable as these crazy moves get. The issue with Sanae's past victories were that they were largely bullshit and out of nowhere (I'd have been fine with the victory over Flan had it been won based on the merits of Suwako's superior offense, both physically and mentally - Sanae's "Good girl from effing nowhere" ruined that).

Exhibition Match. Look it up. This is one. Has been right along for the etire match.

Yeah, wishing for a definitive loss for Team Moriya isn't wishing to Byakuren move on... they can't, because Moriya moves on regardless. The only difference is that Sanae said they'd forfeit the next match if the lost, so what you'd essentially be wishing for is for not getting to see Tenshi and Okuu fight this round.

Utsuho and Tenshi are still going to fight. No one said they wouldn't. They have to fight Suika and Sakuya to determine which of those two teams will actually be in a qualifying match. AND, if Moriya loses and DOES forfeit, Tenshi/Okuu vs. Sakuya/Suika would BE the qualifying match. There really wouldn't be a choice, they'd be down one set of goddesses.

For the sake of saying it, that top panel looks ridiculously easy to reverse. Putting Byakuren's strength into the equation makes it more so...but eh, a minor complaint.
