Regarding "soft, gelatinous, and rubbery" if that was the case why did she say she'd be able to pass through those water walls then in WaHH? Wouldn't they be soft as well?

Most liquids actually classify as a hard object, it's just that it's so easy to pass through it that nobody really thinks of it that way anymore. But don't ever try jumping off the high-diving board spread eagle... it hurts when you hit the water. Water parts in the same way that paper does when we stick our hands through it, water just is able to reform afterwards.
