Would've had this done several minutes sooner, but I had trouble deciding on a good equivalent idiom for the title.

It's the same way with the special viewing platform in the Tokyo Tower. I've never gone up there for as far back as I can recall, though! Apparently, my parents took me along on a trip up when I was a baby, but I don't remember it at all.

For now, I was able to update today. Tomorrow...doesn't look possible. (^^;)

It is the same at Roppongi Hills (forgot the name of the tower). Regular observation deck (indoor) was 1500 円 and the roof observation deck (outdoor) was 2000. Tourism/popular spots, they take your money fast.

I suppose you're talking about Tokyo City View.

The levels are the same as the CN Tower (350 and 450m)... the extra price for the top observation deck is also about the same.

I've had friends who have done the CN Tower stair climb a couple times, but haven't gotten around to doing it myself.

Cannot unsee the fact that Tani Takeshi in the last panel looks like an angry man (Apple as the head and his lower large eye as an armpit...)

Yep that is the one. the Disney thing was on the roof top there. And there was also this One Piece anniversary during that period.

Poor wallets, they have to become so empty for everyone to enjoy the next observation level. I'm sure it's worth it, though, to get to see Tokyo from that height. At least if Kogasa-san spends all her money on the tower, she won't have any to spend on food later, right? Then again, Yuyuko-sama is rich...

For the poll, I'd love to check out Sky Tree for myself, just to see how great the view is.
