    I think it's obvious. The grim is coming for the child and it was his birthday.
    The good side of the grim tries to make her stop but the evil one sugest she goes on with the schedule

    Replying to a one-year-old comment: talk about death and necromancy...
    But thanks for bringing this picture to my attention, I kinda like it. Death growing a conscience or turning mortal is rather common trope in fiction, but comedic (Terry Pratchett - Mort and Reaper Man) and serious (Neil Gaiman - Death: The High Cost of Living).
