I still don't get what's so monstrous about noting age. How is age NOT a thing of honor, sigil of resilience that it is?

Guys might look at it like that but women... Women in general just don't like being called old. Hell, I hate it when people call me sir too; it makes you feel old lol

What Freya211 stated is true. If you call an older woman "miss" she'll most likely be glad to hear it (I know this from experience).

For me, how I feel about it is all a matter of context; if it's someone I know, and I can tell they're joking, I don't mind. If it's some random person on the street, I'd probably want to beat them down for it.

For the poll, let's go mountain climbing with Yukari-sama. She could always gap us if we get too tired, and she might even bring along Ran-san, and Chen-chan. That would make things that much better!

I don't really mind being called miss at my age of 14 by someone younger than me like grade 7 students, I just think of it as a sign or respect or something. Women who doesn't want to be called old are just too cautious of their image...

It bothers me when people get annoyed at being called Miss or Sir. It's a formal polite way to greet someone. Would you rather someone said "hey you"?

If you're really 14 then you can't really compare yet. come back in like 25-30 yrs and then we'll see if you can say you feel just fine with people calling you old lol

Yeah, not alot of people have your point of view, especially in the western part of the world today.
