Easy to clean I think.
Just use the most powerfull whiteners available on it and it is clean.

Because a person in white coat says "I am the doctor" better than those in scrubs or intern business attire.

The opposite of how grim reaper were portrayed in black coat prolly.

The modern white coat was introduced to medicine in the late 1800s as a symbol of cleanliness (any smudge or spot on the coat would be visible). Black coats were used for working with cadavers in the 1920's.
When most people think of a doctor, they picture someone in a white coat.

Last time I check she's a Pharmacist. Not quite a doctor more of a medical scientist in that description.
