On October 14, 1945, Kim Il Sung made his first public appearance during the "Pyongyang Citizens Welcome the Liberators from the Soviet Union" gala. During that time, he was quite young by appearance (legend has it that he had been active since the 1920s), raising doubts and surprises among the populace.
As for the illustration: following the will of the production company (USSR), Miss Kim Il Sung stole the name and the history of the Legendary Idol Kim Il Sung. In the end, although she was dogged by rumours of her theft of someone else's name, because she indeed had the traits of an idol (dictator), she was able to build a huge base of support that would come to be called "a dynasty".
