Oh good, so I wasn't the only one thinking this.

What this makes me think of is why he left: the fact that Yuyuko the ghost wasn't quite the same as Yuyuko the living person he came to know.

There's some remarks in canon about this affect Yukari some, but for Youki it might have been worse.
