Red Earth is an old CP System III arcade fighting game that never saw a home console release. It featured a really interesting EXP- and item-based single-player mode.
It wasn't terribly popular in the West, but its characters often see cameos in Capcom's games to this day.
You can see a couple of them in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 endings, even.
