It's hard to say. Even if she's a plant there are a lot of plants that are "parasites". It's really complicated to use the same terms when pants don't move, nor have digestive systems, but this Yuuka does... Ok, some plants aren't able to produce enough food and as such have alternative ways to supplement their nutritional needs. Carnivorous plants are one, parasite plants are other, and if they could move and had a mouth, eating other plants and seeds would work... but it wouldn't be cannibalism if the seed where from another species, rather, it would be predation.

I don't think Yuuka is a sunflower, actually. She lives in a field of sunflowers, but her own colour scheme (and personality) would better match a rose.
