A flush consists of cards of the same suit, e.g. all diamonds.

A straight flush combines both, and is thus worth more.

An ace-high straight flush (10->J->Q->K->A) is known as a royal flush, as it has the king, queen and jack.

If the suit is spades (as the cards held here), then it's the highest-valued hand possible.

does this only apply if the hand of 2 players have the same kind of hand? ex. when 2 or more players somehow got royal flush?

Only for the same kind of hand. A royal flush of diamonds is still greater than flush of spades.

Not always, the common way I play is by: Spades > Hearts > Diamonds > Clubs.
