Stuff about Elly's Maou Beam and how it affected Meguru. Most particularly since her glasses are now broken...

I'm not 100% sure about the parts about the insurance. I'm not really familiar with that sort of stuff.

Yeah, when you can seriously damage someone with a half-asleep low-power blast that misses, who's going to laugh at you for giving your attacks silly names?

Except that Meguru has the same affinity for Spell Booster that Seren also has, which makes them both overpowered mages whose magic are so strong, low level spells become high-class magic.

Since Meguru is Seren's apprentice, she can't be much weaker than Seren, so by that logic she can't be weaker than Elly either.

Nah, Meguru is a Guild Wars 2 Elementalist. She can just dodge the attack.

Seren is one of, if not the most powerful mage in the Karindou world. Meguru is only a mid-level mage. There's a world of difference between their power. (To be fair, there's a world of difference between Seren and pretty much everyone else in the comic.)

And Elza is Seren's master. So going by your logic, Elza has enough magical energy to destroy both the magic world AND the real world in the Karindou universe.

And that may well be true. I mean, she's almost twice as old as Seren AND her master, so it's highly possible she's ridiculously powerful. Oh, and she is a necromancer, so she probably can start zombie apocalypse any time she wants.

Meguru's spell booster affinity provides her more hurdles than profits: until she learns to control it properly she can't cast most of low-level magic - in raku's world, it won't get overpowered, but will just 'break'. Seren still has to use a ear-wing-limiter to do it.

Actually, Elza is considered a mid-level mage.
