I'm not sure how excessive that is. From my perspective with a lot of movement in most of the scenes, shifts in scenes, 100% dither, and being a bit on the larger resolution end for a gif (imo), I don't know how much you could actually save in space without having to lower dither (lowering image quality) and/or cut in resolution size. Maybe at best could save around 0.5mb without tampering with the dither and resolution through cutting out stationary/background redundancy amongst some frames.
