Hmmm...I don't think so. Eirin's log date states 1341 and one of the latests test subjects seems to be in the 2000's.

Unless of course that this artist's Sakuya got lost in time-haxorz.

Sakuya is a mysterious character.

The problem is it was 1341. If Remilia was 500 years old in 2002, she wasn't born yet in 1341. Don't know how the artist is going to explain this (or is he going to?) but it can't be Remi unless he is ignoring cannon (which is fine anyways).

Wouldn't you think that perhaps it was a different youkai who might've picked her up? Maybe it could be related to Eirin conducting human experimentation and cloning? Or perhaps she wasn't picked up at all and even survived on sheer willpower or luck? When you look at the potential bigger picture there's no telling what could be the case.
