Whenever I see this pic I can't help but feel Wizard isn't pointing at the book, but just a bit over it.
Wizard: "Hey, look at that guy at the table over there. Shhh. No no! Look casually or he'll know you're looking. The guy with the shady beard, cloak, and giant sack over his shoulder. I bet HE can unlock doors and search for traps. Let's ask him to come with us. Do you think he knows we're adventurers?"
