P.S. Emi's mom has a name, as revealed in Volume 3: Laylah.

Thanks for notifying me she has a name, allowed me to dig it up (was relying on ANN, AniDB, and wikipedia and then referencing back to the Japanese wikipedia on those with identified names). Though, do you have something to back that specific spelling for the name? I was able to find her on the Japanese wikipedia, but her name is listed as ライラ (Raira), which seems like it can convert into a bunch of other names of various spellings (wikipedia) like Lyra, Lailah/Laylah, Lyla, Lila, Lilah, etc. I imagine Lailah/Laylah (given being angel related) is probably the reference, but that still means having to decide on spelling.

It is, and all of the angels introduced later on have a distinct naming scheme -- see an ACTUAL Gabriel being introduced post book-4, and Metatron.

Also being named after the Angel of Night kind of fits, as (if I understand right) Laylah is called "the Bringer of Doom" for saving Maou when he was still a lowly peon, and educating him on politics, tactics, and whatnot, as well as giving birth to Emi, a Nephilim.

how do i say it, Emi is more assertive and aggresive while the daddy from a quick look gives a mellow, positive thinker vibe
