For a game about battling it out to win faith I find it rather odd that the Moriya crew were absent from this game. What about their rivalry with the Hakurei shrine back in MoF?

I've never played a Touhou game and have read very little of the print works, probably something in some of those I missed out on.

It might be that the Moriya crew never had trouble gathering faith in the first place, but that still doesn't sound right... I'm not too sure about it myself.
