The fat jokes are very, very old.

This would go in the "Sad for Fat" pool if it still existed. Letty's in perfectly decent shape, but she's holding herself to unreasonable standards for what constitutes being "fat".

I figured as much, but to me, "weight-conscious" doesn't quite imply the same thing. One can be weight-conscious with good reason; the subjects in the former "Sad for Fat" pool were supposed to be worried needlessly, as Letty is here. Not that I consider it important enough an issue to reverse the decision.

The difference is that most of them can still be funny with the right timing. The "Fat Letty" meme is insulting, not just to the character, but to rounded women in general.
