    Even in the age of piracy, holding your guns like you're pretending you're John Woo still looked incredibly stupid. Seriously, why would anyone ever cross their arms while shooting like this? It just looks ridiculous.

    Considering the aiming ability of guns in those days, it probably doesn't make much of a difference. Still in the general direction, which is about all the precision you'd get anyway.
