I don't think it's a matter of learning, it's more likely a genetic 'defect'. They just aren't physically capable.
not very much information in the profiles that it´s possilble to change the body form of a monstergirl and i guess they are not often think about it but if a way exist some of them will accept the choice to change their body form. maybe in this cases: 1. they are adult but have the body of a child and wish a adult form. 2. plant monstergirls are most unable to move but if they have feets they can do it. 3. if they can switch between their monster form and that of a woman a lot of ways of sex are possilble. it´s very easy to gave monstergirls what they want man, sex, babies or even more like home, family, food and drink. but change the body it´s a special favor and not so bad to make them also happy.

The Parasite Slime/Slime Carrier do stand out though for being the second (as far as I recall) parasitic creature after the Roper - uniquely speaking, they both have no initial humanoid female forms of their own and must infest a female host first.
The overall end result however is still 'will have sex with men, can possibly infect/transform other females into its kind' like every other Mon-Girls though.
That being said Silfs, which do you think would change the world more; Mon-girls, or pokemon, the current generation? One could claim either could be used for good or evil...I think.
There are official books by the author that go into greater detail. But they're all written in-universe and the in-universe author outright admits hes bias/pro-monster girl/an unreliable narrator (which is really the out-of-universe author's way of saying "everything is subject to change".
That said, depending on your interpretation of the books; the monster girl universe is 'grim-dark/apocalyptic' or a tentative 'stalemate' (depending on which book/profile you read but mostly leaning towards grim-dark/apocalyptic.)
i wonder if this case is possilbe that a monstergirl get a own body. posses a human woman or enter into their womb and transform there into a egg or something else. than controlling the woman to have sex with a man to become pregant and when the time is right the monstergirl will born with a own body.
