is she really? sometimes it's sort of hard to tell with her cause i've seen her open them and look at people sometimes in the manga.

Ah, yes. I am glad I am not the only one who knows of Zatoichi.

There is also a blind swordsman in "The Adept", a comic by artist "Lightfoot". She has not appeared yet, but she is going to. The idea reminded me of Zatoichi then, too.

Uh. She's not blind. She just has her eyes closed as part of her character design.

Thats propably because she doesnt use her eyes.

Maybe she´s hiding the fact that she might have poor eyesight and uses her hearing instead.
