BTW, made the pool, but there’s several problems.
1. Because we’re just randomly upload strips that look interesting at the moment, there are skipped pages and mostly unordered.
2. Made the preeliminary ordering based on his Nico Nico page (no multi-page like Pixiv, so easier). But there are pages that are only available in Pixiv, so these are not yet in the pool.
Anybody want to try and add the still unpooled pages ?

Chinese REPUBLICAN navy, not the Chinese Communist navy.

This comic does give a pretty good portrayal of why this decision would set some people on edge. I do wonder what the circumstances surrounding Yukikaze's temporary promotion were.

Probably Choukai (the original flagship of the 8th Fleet) was currently ported in Shortland Islands and would leave for Rabaul eventually, so they decided Yukikaze to take in charge for awhile. Choukai arrived on Rabaul on July 8, 1943 and on July 9, 1943, Yukikaze was ordered to cover a troop transport run to reinforce Kolombangara.
