Changed translation for her rank. 少佐 (Shousa) can be either Major of Lieutenant Commander, but for a naval officer it's obviously the latter.

I would imagine that they are REALLY short-staffed. Sheesh, having a senior officer taking a flag officer billet. No wonder discipline has gone to the shitter. Hell, I bet some of the ship(girl)s actually outrank her.
