    In case "gameplay mechanics" is not understood:

    Poliwag was supposed to be one of the starter. Due to Nintendo's request, it was changed to Squirtle.

    But in Pokemon Adventures/Special, Poliwag was starter for one of the character, to reflect that.

    Also, Fubuki is one of the 5 starter in the Kantai Collection.

    smaller note, but I don't know what that thing is called behind Fubuki. Is it a new Pokemon?
