No one for translation ?

Don't really understand the first little note in the second panel:
"ある日の空きコマ"
(Something like the artist didn't bother drawing anything for that scene?)
Just in case I'll also not translate the second one ("ある日の昼休み") that seems to just say "some day during lunch break".
