I'd like to point out that, with all the hackability coming from lack of real grammar in English, the lack of certain key concepts like that represented by 間に合う/at nå/zdążyć as first-class language objects is fucking annoying sometimes.
葉月, there are a lot of constructs in english that don't have direct analogues in japanese, too, I'm sure - it's just a hurdle translators have to jump over, I guess
