Basically, it's a requirement for a quest. The quest require you to stea- I mean collect ten hishimochi. In return, you will receive 880 Ammunition & 880 Steel, one Mamiya and one Skilled Lookouts fairies. It's the skilled lookout that you might want to have since you cannot acquire it in any other way IIRC.

It's a drop obtainable by defeating enemies in certain maps which has a low rate of obtaining. However Hoppo has the highest drop rate out of the entire game, so most veteran admirals have been stealing Hishimochi from her. However the way to where Hoppo is isn't so nice because of Black Wo Shooter.

I've given up already on the quest, my ships are not powerful enough (below Lv 60) and so far I only got 6 (4 on 1-3, 2 on 1-4 and none on 1-5) even when I've been trying from the beginning every 30 minutes 12 hours daily.

Oh well, at least 3 DD reached Kai Ni, my 4 SS are above Lv 50, Ooi and Kitakami will be leveled enough and ready for the next event and hopefully the reward quest will be available as equipment on a new Kai Ni.

It's time to focus on expeditions for an entire week in order to get Z1, that's right I'm aiming for Bismarck.
