    Anyone care to ID that big handcannon revolver? Or offer info on the use of such a large laser sight?

    The title reveals it as a Smith and Wesson Model 629 Stealth Hunter. I'm guessing the gigantic laser sight is artist's taste.

    It's an Imatronic LS45 (no good single resource to link to, so Google will have to do). It's enormous because it dates to 1987 or so. They were apparently used in a few movies, too, as the linked search will turn up - the "giant box" school of futuristic-looking guns, I suppose.
