Back in Aug/Sept 2001 I was working in a computer store, and a guy came in, with Sailor Moon tattooed on his forearm. He was pretty buff... not some scrony guy. It was a really common image too.
weird =/= photoshopped. Every time people see something that is very weird, they always say that it is shopped. This does not look like a shop at all. Looks very miuch like a real tatoo.
I can confirm that this is in fact quite real. I saw this guy at AnimeExpo 2002, when I was leaving the convention hall (I think this pic must have been taken at the same place, considering his convention badge lanyard). My friends and I were quite shocked to see such a tatoo on this guy's back, and we had a good laugh about how much of an otaku he'd have to be to do something like that.
