Do we have a tag for amagi the battlecruiser? There aren't many images of her, though I know they exist. The current amagi tag seems to be meant for the carrier.

Well... at least Akagi didn't really get to see her big sister go else thats gonna be one for the trauma.

This Amagi is different from the Unryuu-class CV 'Amagi'. This Amagi is a FBB from back when Kaga was still a Tosa-class BB.

As the Amagi tag is for the Unryuu-class CV 'Amagi' and not the Amagi-class FBB, I will remove the tags from this pool.

As far as I can tell, that's Akagi waving in the background.

Does anyone know which ships those are in the background? I'm assuming one of them is Kaga, but I'm not entirely sure...

In case anybody's wondering, Akagi's sister ship Amagi was originally meant to be converted into a carrier and Kaga was meant to be scrapped for treaty compliance. But during the Great Kanto Earthquake, Amagi's keel was broken beyond any possibility of repair. Kaga was chosen as her replacement to become the 2nd carrier conversion. And since the keel is the spine of a ship, Amagi's shipgirl is paraplegic and has to use a wheelchair.
