I'm actually just taking a shot in the dark here. Near as I can tell this is supposed to be Haunter. Mostly I'm guessing by supposing the bandages cover the parts that aren't supposed to be there.

It's actually gengar (ゲンガー) as it says in the title.

Well, I stand corrected then. I couldn't tell, but the body made me think otherwise. Thanks for the info.

Maybe it's just you and me but I find your arguments make more sense than the artist's opinion. I can see no Gengar here but a Haunter, too.

The teeth are most definitely more inspired by Gengar. That's the big difference, though a compelling argument could be made either way.
