I've always thought there was something from her list which wasn't shown in the series. Just look at how Haruhiko is literally grabbing Kyonko by her ponytail.
That's a great post. :) Yeah, having 以上 - いじょう looks a little silly. However, I occasionally will type just the kanji in the translation notes. I figure if anyone comes along and wants to lookup the kanji, it's easier for them if they can just copy/paste. Or, if they have RikaiChan, they can just roll over the text.
It's pointless. If someone needs to look up 以 or 上, he won't be able to make a satisfactory translation anyway.
BTW, there's nothing to indicate that 異世界人 refers specifically to a "slider" as in the eponymous, obscure TV series; in fact, the exact characteristics of a 異世界人 in Haruhi are unknown, since such a character hasn't appeared yet (which is also the basis for this comic).
Yeah I guess you're right about the "slider" thing. It's a nice, concise term that I think is pretty close but implies too much (e.g. the "how" of traveling between different worlds).
This is, indeed, awesome. But, Jesus Christ, Haruhiko, don't run with a girl by the hair. Even Haruhi isn't that barbaric. You're THROWING Kyonko by the hair.
