Looks like reincarnation, since in in this pic they seem to remember stuff though can't quite place where.

That was one hell of an emotional roller coaster. Glad to see how it worked out in the end. That was nice.

I think that she is there is the very idea. He doesn't want to hate or revenge. He just wants this bloody and gruesome war to end, and if that means forgiving actions of a soldier that killed those he loved. He will do that.

War is a ugly thing. Both sides always have someone they care about back home, or among the lines. In old times folk may have believed that there was gain by war. But nowadays they are nothing but a mess of human deaths and sacrifices. And the horrible thing is that there are still wars that need to be fought... I just... wish it could be done differently. :(
