The fact that her damaged art is not fanservice-centric is very refreshing for a change.

I do think the recent non-fanservicey damage artworks that keeps coming out recently is nice.

Although in this case, it needs more damage but not necessarily lost clothing strips, maybe more burn marks, smoke or bullet holes in her equipment.

No. More like not enough clothing damage.

well this is fanservice enough for me, sometimes there are people who prefer small window of peeking than the entire almost naked clothing damage

The newer damage art would make a lot more sense as "light damage", it's too minimal to be anything other than that. Here for example there's really barely any damage to her rigging and to her clothing. You could still have damaged things like her socks, her sleeves, anywhere around the waist area of her outfit to have added greater sense of damage. She also doesn't seem to appear impaired in anyway to fight at full ability either, so to represent being damaged it's kind of a failure.
