I try to make her skirt fall just above her knees. Her sleeves should fall a bit lower than that.I like the combined feeling of 'cute,' 'cool' and 'beautiful' that Reimu has.I always put a lot of work into her shoes and stuff. The socks are white long-socks with frills and a ribbon, and the shoes are loafers.Blue Reimu. Has a more delicate feeling to her, and longer hair.The size of the ribbon is important. I think it's kinda cute if it's a bit bigger than her head.I actually kinda like it if her navel doesn't show much.Her hair is a bit longer than 'semi-long,' but the length changes depending on the drawing.The decorations on her sidelocks start at the outer corner of her eye and go down to just below her ear. I try not to make them too big or too small.Reimu's cuteness lies in the fusion of Japanese and Western styles.
There are lots of ribbons and frills, but I try to be fastidious about the Japanese quality of her sleeves, the color scheme, and the overall balance when I draw her.
