Either Alison has been getting a lot better or he's always been this good but deliberately chose a simpler style till now.

I think it's latter - at Pixiv this was among earliest and most detailed pictures. Artist use same brush 90%+ of the time for outlines with minor changes, coloring may differ widely depending on piture theme. On simpler pictures there is one brush for everything save for thickness. What I like about Alison's style is that pictures have "detail level: just enough".

Oku, chou, kei, gai The Japanese system of numbers. In order: 10^8, 10^12, 10^16, 10^20. Furthermore, since the universe is expanding, this probability will get smaller with time.
    Someday...
    Eirin.
    ...Who knows?
    It's that low...
That's the probability of us arriving on some other planet by chance, if we just float around aimlessly in space.
    Holy shit, space...
Space itself is actually pretty empty.
    Yes...
You know, even though you can see so many stars in space...
    Hmm?
    That won't happen.
Eventually, we'll drift to another planet, right?
When the earth disappears, what will happen to us...?
    About 1 over 10 sextillion. 1/100 gai = 1/10^22 = 1/10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000
    1 over 10 sextillion?!
You two should also prepare yourselves...
