This reminds me of that series of Hetalia shorts where Alfred aka America finds that he is gaining weight (He is actually building up muscle) but he tries different cuisines to reduce the amount he gains but he defeats the purpose by eating a lot of the other cuisines
Who even does this? When I go to the gym, after a workout, I ask people what their eating habits are like so I can better gauge mine. None of them say O yea I eat a burger after my workout. Americans aren't like this, the ones that actually want to lose weight don't do this.

If that were true "Diet", "Light", "Zero" foods and beverages weren't invented and widely successfully commercialized in the first place. There is also the thing many who truly want to lose weight also eat a loss less, hence the bulimic and anorexic disorders. Claiming all who attend gyms are healthy eaters is as true as any average population can't join a gym.
I doubt that is good for your health to eat and exercise at the same time.
Probably would hurt. Digestion functions are dampened while doing a certain level of physical work, so forcing her body to digest too much would cause sickness and slowness. As for the food itself, a small serving of sugar (eat fruit) beforehand can help keep stamina up during exercise, but I can't imagine some of the chemicals in soda are beneficial to her running. A salty burger would most heavily compromise a work out, and would probably lead to some serious muscle cramps and more slowness.
That aside, eating normally with exercise is important to being healthy though. Starving yourself before exercise can make it a painful chore, and it can prevent you from getting anything out of your routine. On the other hand, eating too much junk and trying to force fat out of your body with intense, physically costly work can be destructive to your body. Low weight doesn't mean good health; you can look fit and toned, but still be malnourished and weak if you didn't use physical and nutritional balance to get there. There are plenty of cases of people who look healthy and feel like garbage all the time because they abuse themselves to try to maintain a healthy figure. You need to eat decently and have regular physical exercise to function and feel truly healthy.
Temperance is a virtue, just don't try to literally exercise and eat at the same time.

Very much this. A balance in both exercise and a healthy diet is key to good living. Though considering they are shipgirls wonder how different their bodies work compared to humans.
Eh, professional athletes don't really have a diet that's all that different from Iowa's depicted here. When you're trying to cram 5000 calories into your body a day just to keep your energy levels up, nutritional value really doesn't matter.
Really, your body only needs so many nutrients. After a certain point, they become nothing but waste.
