This drawing makes me wonder if there is a term for changing a character that isn't a monster girl/boy in cannon, to one in fan creations. Under artistic license we have things like bespectacled and kemonomimi mode. But when I look at the tag group:artistic license I don't see anything that would fit this kind of transformation.
personification monster_girl gives a lot of results, but they are monsters, animals and others changed into a monster girls. Not a canonically Human character changed into one.
I don't even know if we even need a term for it, since I can't immediately thing of another post that could benefit from being described by this type of transformation.
there are a few Touhou posts that involve that (like post #2406277... ok, they are not humans but that's not their real forms either) so I think it could be a valid tag... monsterification maybe?
