It's the very same brand that just a couple of pages ago she was heavily conflicted over buying, since it perfectly enhanced her natural beauty and yet is so expensive that she could use the money to bump up the quality of their steak dinners to the very highest quality of beef.

Basically, she was having a conflict between her sense of responsibility as a wife (financially wise) and wanting to pamper herself for once and/or look even better than usual for her husband (personal desire + pleasing her hubby).
